Exports and reports

Risk Companion lets you export your data in multiple formats. Use exports for stakeholder reporting, compliance archiving, or integration with other tools in your organization.

How to generate an export

Exporting data takes three steps. Your current filters and column selections apply to the exported data, so set up your view before exporting.

1Navigate to the data

Go to the risk register, action register, or Project dashboard containing the data you want to export.

2Click the Export button

Find the Export button in the toolbar above the data table. Click it to reveal format options.

3Select a format

Choose Excel, CSV, or PDF. The download begins automatically.

Risk register export

Export your complete risk register with all risk details, scores, owners, and linked measures. This is the most common export for compliance and audit trails.

ExcelCSVPDF
Includes: Risk ID, title, description, category, probability, impact, ratings, owner, status, and linked measures.

Action register export

Export all measures with their status and linked risks. Use this to track measure progress offline or share assignments with team members who do not have direct access to Risk Companion.

ExcelCSVPDF
Includes: Action title, owner, due date, status, priority, linked risk, completion percentage, and notes.

Project reports

Generate a comprehensive PDF report for any project. Project reports combine narrative summaries with visualizations to give stakeholders a complete picture of risk status.

PDF
Includes: Executive summary, risk matrix, top risks, charts, Monte Carlo results, and measure status overview.

Project reports pull data from the Project dashboard. Make sure the project has up-to-date risk data before generating the report.
