How Risk Companion compares

If you are weighing up Riskonnect, RiskChallenger and BowTieXP or the other alternatives, start here. Most risk tools lose to a spreadsheet rather than to each other, so every page below says plainly where we win, where we lose, and where the two products are simply not answering the same question.

Built by real risk management practitioners

Designed by people who ran the workshops, kept the registers current, and sat with the decision-makers who had to act on them.

Replaces spreadsheets in a matter of days

No heavy onboarding and no implementation project. Import your register from Excel by mapping your columns.

Advanced analysis, no specialists required

Monte Carlo, EMV and bowtie diagrams are there when a team grows into them. Nobody needs to be a data scientist.

How we write these

Every claim about another product cites that vendor’s own documentation or a named analyst listing, with the date we checked it. We do not cite aggregator roundups. Where we could not confirm a capability we say so rather than claiming it is missing, and where a competitor does something we cannot, we say that too. We do not publish competitors’ prices: the figures we found disagree with each other, and a price we cannot stand behind is worse than none. If a comparison is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
